OUR HOME

Michael and Rich both grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and love this area for the diverse people from all different cultures, the perfect weather, and close proximity to exciting activities such as hiking, skiing, and playing at the beach.

We live in a newer home with lots of warm wood floors and cozy spaces. Even though Emily has her own room, we turned the formal dining room into a playroom for her and her friends. Emily loves cooking in her pretend kitchen, putting on puppet shows, and sharing her toys, books, and imagination with her playmates. Our new child will also have their own room which is filled with light and overlooks the playground of Emily’s preschool next door.

Our neighborhood is child friendly with many mature trees and yards with gardens and is only minutes from downtown San Jose where there are child-oriented museums, exhibits, parks, and other activities. We frequently walk to the YMCA just a block away for Emily’s weekly swim class. Emily and Rich have also created a garden that they harvest for our nightly family dinners.

When visiting, you will hear books being read, little feet plodding across the room, shrieks of laughter, silly giggling and even musical instruments being played throughout the day…you cannot help but grin. We cherish every day together and strive to provide a nurturing, happy home with an atmosphere of love and deep respect for Emily’s individuality.
