ABOUT US…
Thirteen years ago, we met through a mutual friend while rollerblading and have been together ever since. During our years together, we have created a strong, supportive relationship where we believe that good communication is vital. Four years ago, our daughter Emily was born and became part of our family through open adoption. Bringing Emily home from the hospital after her birth was just the beginning of our journey and one of our greatest joys in life. Our lives are continually enriched by the closeness and love that we share. We constantly grow and teach each other as we share our passion for life, our love of family, and a connection with nature.
Emily has blossomed into a loving, generous, and outgoing child who makes friends easily and loves to be silly. She enjoys reading books, playing hide-and-seek with her friends, having tea parties with her grandparents, riding her bike, and swimming with her dads. Emily looks forward to loving and nurturing a younger sibling. Rich is a flexible, spontaneous, and fun-loving guy with a very caring and nurturing nature. He is an attorney involved in many interesting projects, but always finds lots of time to play as a family. Michael is intuitive, creative, and down-to-earth, and has a deep heart for those close to him. He has been a fulltime stay-at-home dad since the day Emily was born. Michael is also a landscape designer who undertakes a few select projects when time permits.
As you continue to get to know us better, we also hope to learn more about you. We are extremely committed to open adoption because we want our child to know you and the love that was behind your decision. As we look forward to welcoming a precious baby into our home and hearts, we remain mindful of the brave step you are making and wish only the best for you and your child.
